Coronavirus (COVID-19) – Warrington Road Club Response:
December 24th, 2020
Warrington Road Club new New Covid Guidance:
Covid Area Classifications have changed from December 26th. Warrington is now classed as a Tier 3 (Very High) Area
Different rules apply in each tier, however in Tiers 1 to 3 the guidance states that you must not socialise in a group of more than six people outside – the ‘rule of six’. This would allow group rides of up to six people in Tiers 1-3.
For groups from ‘Very High’ areas, you are permitted to ride into ‘Medium’ – Tier 1, ‘High’ – Tier 2, or other ‘Very High’ – Tier 3 areas as part of your route, however you should only stop for a break while within your own area.
You should not enter or leave a Tier 4 (‘Stay at home’) area while exercising.
There is no restriction on the distance you can cycle for exercise, or the frequency of rides.
Members can wear WRC club clothing and can organise their rides using the WRC Facebook Site.
Members are reminded that the health risks from Covid 19 have not diminished and riding in groups is entirely a personal decision.
Best Regards, WRC Committee
