How Do I Get In To Races?
Below is a detailed list with links of the types of races available to Warrington Road Club Members from Road Racing to Time Trials.

The League International (T.L.I.)
TLI Cycling is the UK body for age related cycle road racing for riders of any ability and any age.
Regular Races most weekends and on many Tuesday nights throughout the summer, these are run by other local clubs. Please keep an eye on the events run through the TLI web site as they can sell out quickly. Monitoring these races should be an important part of diary planning for your racing calendar throughout the year. You will need to purchase a racing licence for entry into these events, please refer to their website for further details.

Here you can search for your weekend and week day events you would like to race it. Always useful to speak to other club members who might be entering similar events.
LVRC – The League of Veteran Racing Cyclists
The League of Veteran Racing Cyclists provides road racing for cyclists who are 40 years of age or more; the League is open equally to male and female bike racers.You will need to purchase a racing licence for entry into these events, please refer to their website for further details.
British Cycling
The internationally recognised governing body of cycle sport in the UK. British Cycling use a category racing system which helps with standardising levels of cyclists to compete against each other in the same race. You will need to purchase a racing licence for entry into these events, please refer to their website for further details.

Cycling Time Trials
National governing body for cycling road time trials in the UK.
Gives a Warrington Road Club member an opportunity to Enter any Organised Open CTT event as well as having more option for locally run TT’s as well. Easy to join and is a must do for open events, each event will have a deadline for entry usually 10 days before the event starts. Like the road race circuit, planning your races in advance is important part of diary planning for your time trial calendar throughout the year.You do need to register online with the CTT, however membership is free.
Warrington Road Club are affiliated to Cycling Time Trials, Manchester and District Time Trials Association (MDTTA) and also North Lancs Time Trial Association. For information on our local districts, please see click the badges below which give you a new internet page for each respective district.
You can search for Open Time Trials as well as local Club evening events on the M&DTTA page that are officially registered. Note that Weaver Valley Cycling Club and Seamons Cycling Club both have Wednesday evening events in the Summer local to Warrington that you should be able to enter.

VTTA – Veterans Time Trials Association
The Veterans Time Trials Association is for anyone 40 years of age and over who has an interest in cycle racing, and specifically in time trialling.You have to pay a fee to join VTTA, please refer to their website for further details.
