Matt Gibson, 20 from Lymn, Warrington returned to the racing circuit this year in pure style this last week as he was crowned the HSBC 2017 UK National Crit Champion.

The racing season well underway and Warrington Road Club riders have started the season well some good places and times to show for a long winter of training. Paul Gibson has started the year on top form after a good track winter season with several top 5 finishes including 3rd at the Cheshire Road Race Series and a 2nd place finish at the Darley Moor Criterium in late March.

July 16th also saw the annual Ron Spencer Memorial Open 25 Mile Time Trial Event run by Warrington Road Club, that brought 134 riders all over the North West.
