The racing season well underway and Warrington Road Club riders have started the season well some good places and times to show for a long winter of training. Paul Gibson has started the year on top form after a good track winter season with several top 5 finishes including 3rd at the Cheshire Road Race Series and a 2nd place finish at the Darley Moor Criterium in late March.

July 16th also saw the annual Ron Spencer Memorial Open 25 Mile Time Trial Event run by Warrington Road Club, that brought 134 riders all over the North West.
Warrington Road Clubs Open Four Up Team Time Trial Event is one of the most popular and sort after events in the Local Time Trial Cycling Calendar which proved to continue this year as almost thirty teams from the region entered in this year’s competition.
The first of four Open Time Trial events that Warrington Road Club organise throughout the season was held on Saturday 28th May on the Tough J4/16 Course on the Cheshire circuit near Jodrell Bank. 96 riders entered the event with only 76 riders completing the course with an official time.
